Incident Resolved: CTIM-856
Easyflyer indicates that all pages seem to be loading as expected again. Monitors show the discount service transaction times returned to normal around 12:30 ET. Incident is now contained.

UPDATE:

Database scaling has resulted in improved performance for the Discount Service. Easyflyer has indicated the pages are loading. Still monitoring before containing the incident.

CORRECTION: The fix applied was from the website side but the Backbone Customer Discount Service remains down due to issue observed at database side, due to which health check call for service is not receiving 200 as response and marks the service instances as unhealthy. Issue is ongoing as teams check the underlying database.
