Incident Resolved: CTIM-806
The issue has been resolved and teams are no longer seeing the 5XX errors. Incident is contained at this point. Note: the primary cause for the outage was due to a 3rd party application used by the affected services.

UPDATE:

Support/dev teams have already been able to mitigate the error rates. We’re still gathering details on the fix but the affected services (Backbone Tax Service, Backbone Pricing Service, Backbone Payment Service, OM payments services) should be healthy again.
