Starting around 1:50 AM EST, the Windsor plant experienced an increase in failed shipment planning caused by intermittent 504 Gateway Timeout and 500 Internal Server errors. The failures were traced to timeouts and errors from the Inventory Broker service, impacting supply validation and preventing Shipping Order Groups (SOGs) from being created. Multiple shipments failed during this period, with errors observed across ganging, inventory checks, and label printing workflows.
The issue was suspected to be related to an ongoing SAP maintenance window, as SAP availability is required for supply validation during shipment planning. Once SAP availability was restored, previously failed orders began planning successfully. The incident was monitored for stability before closure to ensure no further shipment failures occurred.
