UPDATE:

Payment service throughput has declined and metrics are normal. Backlog order processing continues and should be completed within the next 10-15 minutes. At this point, we don’t expect to see any additional issues, but will keep the incident open for now to be sure.

The backlogged queues are being processed at an increased rate. Metrics show significantly more orders are being sent to the MCP, starting around 4pm ET. We will continue to monitor the progress but do not expect any additional delays. Next update in 1 hour or sooner.

Commerce teams identified a backlog of messages that were held in the queue for processing. They scaled up the infrastructure to help with processing. Both CT Commerce and Artwork teams are working the issue.
