UPDATE:

Data teams have completed the process of restoring permissions to the affected roles. If users are still experiencing any issues, please let us know in the incident channel. We will wait to contain the incident until we can confirm that access has been restored.

Data teams are still actively refining the scripts. Users who still are facing permissions problems should feel free to notify CTIM in the incident channel. The process to restore access for each role is ongoing. Next update in 1-2 hours.

UPDATE:

Most of the permissions should now be restored. Data teams are reviewing the remaining access errors after the initial script to re-apply the grants was completed. We will provide another update once they have finished their review (~1-2 hours or sooner).

The Data team is still working on fixing the issue. The estimated time for the fix is 3 to 4 hours. CTIM will follow up with the Data team for updates in the next 3 hours.

UPDATE:

The Data team has identified the missing roles and is currently working on the next four steps. This time, team will approach the resolution differently by leveraging Snowflake history. Only a single script from the Data Portal will be used to recreate the roles.

Execute script to transfer ownership
Ensure that not all datasets in resource-controlled products are transferred Note: This excludes River and Fivetran datasets.
Execute scripts to restore permissions for shares

The Data team is still investigating the incident affecting Vista due to the PDW role deletion issue, which is being treated as high priority. The next update will be provided in 30 minutes or less.
