Data Domain squads have continued to work through the outlined process to correct various permissions issues. They are nearing the final steps to provide access to the data shares.

We will provide another update by EOD (ET) or once the final script has been completed and access is restored to all affected roles.

As per the latest update, the first script to recover manually applied grants has been executed successfully. Work is in progress to add remaining privileges. Once the review is complete, team will proceed with executing the final scripts, including permissions for data shares. Next update will be shared in max 12 hours.

UPDATE:

As per the latest update, the team has executed the script to regrant all READ permissions that were manually created in the deleted Snowflake roles. They are currently reviewing the script to grant WRITE permissions. The code is under review. The next update will be provided after we hear back from the support team.

A script has been developed to fully resolve the issue and is under review. Since the changes will need to be closely monitored to avoid additional problems, it’s not expected to be completed until tomorrow, though many of the issues have already been resolved.

We will follow up within 24 hours to check on the progress and send another update.

Most roles and access have been successfully recovered. The team is investigating some errors encountered during the recovery operations. Next update in max 6 hours

The Data Platform squad accidentally deleted several data product roles. Recovery of the privileges for these roles is currently in progress. Until the restoration is complete, data product-related Data Platform resources may be affected. Next update will be shared when we have more information on this or CTIM will follow up on this in max 6 hours.
