Investigation is focusing on whether changes made to tax normalization in pricing overrides about a week ago, combined with the August 1st deployment. Teams are reviewing API call outputs across FR, NL, and potentially other locales to confirm the full scope and root cause. Initial findings confirm the issue is limited to French subscriptions (primarily WiX and Pro Advantage Memberships). France is the only EU locale configured with tax-exclusive values, which aligns with why other countries are unaffected. Team is investigating if the August 1st deployment impacted pricing overrides and handling of the includesTax field. The last recorded price change for the impacted product was in Feb 2024, set at €42 tax-exclusive. Investigation is ongoing to confirm root cause. Correction to the above escalation statement: The subscription system is not receiving the expected pricing response for subscription prices in the French locale, resulting in ~20% higher charges for affected customers.
