Investigating

New Incident: CTIM-1557
Priority: Low
Escalation sent to: Fulfillment: Plant Optimizations/NPI for review.
An ongoing issue with out-of-stock (OOS) rejections for PPAG orders has affected over 1,200 customer orders since July 1st. Orders are being rejected with a “Material for item unobtainable” error despite physical stock being available at suppliers. A fix was deployed on July 2nd but the problem persisted, with another spike in rejections occurring on July 8th. The fulfillment team rolled back a recent change, but rejections are still high disproving that this change was the root cause. Teams are investigating the root cause, which appears to be related to how inventory data is being interpreted in the Viper system after orders are placed. Requesting SAP team investigate and share any findings that may be valuable.
