CT Calculator Service Severely Degraded
Incident Resolved: CTIM-1084
The CT Calculator Service is back to normal after Alchemy scaled the cluster to its maximum. Currently, Alchemy will continue to monitor and investigate the root cause but they believes this was tied to a specific set of queries that occurred at 8:38 AM ET.

UPDATE:
The Alchemy team is started the DB nodes that are stuck at 99% CPU usage. The cluster is scaled to its maximum, and things are starting to recover slowly. Next update in 30mins or less

The CT Calculator Service is severely degraded, which will affect the ability to check out on the Vistaprint and BoxUp websites. There were a number of large writes around 8:38 AM ET that seemingly caused the database to become overloaded. Currently, the Alchemy and Lovecraft teams are working on this issue.
