The BoxUp dev team was able to implement a workaround for this issue and the affected products are working as expected now. Incident is contained, resolution details will be provided in the PIA.

At this point, the investigation is on-hold until the Boxup devs are able to assist by reviewing the quantity options for blank box products on the website.

Support teams are reaching out to the boxup dev team for assistance. Ecommerce support has verified that the pricing API is unlikely to be at-fault since this affects just a subset of products. It was noticed that the available quantities for blank box products allows for up to 2million units which isn’t expected and might be part of the problem.

Requesting assistance from eCommerce to help diagnose timeouts for pricing requests for ‘blank box’ items on the Boxup website. All users are still seeing page loading/freezing problems when trying to add these items to a cart.

Escalation sent to: PCD: Product Operations for review.
All Blank Box items are having trouble loading when users go to those product pages on the website. The ‘Add to Cart’ button starts to load but then freezes and locks up the page. There are some cases where the item will eventually load and can be added to a cart, though it freezes the page again and usually doesn’t progress t the cart step. There seems to be some issue with loading the data for these products, though it’s not clear yet which service is having trouble.
